George Frank Frankowski, Jr ., age 56, of Upper Tract, WV, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at his home.  George was born on February 15, 1967 in Baltimore, MD the son of the late George Frank Frankowski, Sr. and Linda Belle (Berg) Alt of Upper Tract.

Mr. Franksowski attended Baltimore City Schools, later receiving his GED and was a Baptist by faith.  George had a gift for fixing almost anything.  He truly was a jack-of-all trades and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his mother, George is survived by: 2 daughters, Sammie Riley of Fredericksburg, MD; Mackenzie McFadden of Westminster, MD; 2 sons, George Frank Frankowski, III; Dempsey McFadden (Destiny) of Westminster, MD; 2 Grandchildren; and special friends and neighbors, Jeff and Teresa Moats, and Griff and Becky Yokum.

George's family will receive friends on Saturday, November 11, 2023 1-2 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV.  A Celebration of Life will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Frank Ketterman officiating.
