Guilda C. (Simmons) Meadows passed away Oct 27, 2019, in Holland, Ohio

Born Oct 22, 1936, in Franklin, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Virgie (Hartman) Simmons.

Mrs. Meadows moved to Ohio in 1959 and remained there until her death. She lived in Vermilion, Ohio,

from 1964 to 2016.

She loved to garden, both vegetables and flowers. She loved to take care of children (from helping with her siblings at home, to her own children, the grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even babysitting neighborhood children). She enjoyed sewing, reading and doing crafts.

Her husband of 52 years, Charlie A. Meadows, preceded her in death.

Surviving are three daughters, Cindy (Wayne) Traster of Lorain, Ohio, Wanda (Rick) Fall of Maumee, Ohio, and Kathy Logsdon of Huron, Ohio; a son, Charlie A. Meadows Jr. of Vermilion, Ohio; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters, Lacy Simmons, Velma Lance, Judy Simmons, George (Edna) Simmons, Sally George, Perry (Linda) Simmons and Bonnie Davis, all from the Franklin area; and a sister-in-law, Treva Simmons of Franklin.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter Mary (Meadows) Williams; a brother Reford Simmons; and a sister Shirley (Simmons) Alexander.
