Harlan Erman Day , age 87, of Riverton, WV, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024, at his home He was born on September 27, 1936, at Riverton, WV, the son of the late Russell and Elsie (Harper) Day.

Erman was a member of High Rock Church. He was a passionate farmer that had the honor to grow up and work on the Wright & Betty Harper Farm for over 70 years. He was welcomed to the family by Wright and Betty's children; Becky, Lucy, Merlin and Berlin.

Erman leaves behind to cherish his memory: 2 sisters, Josephine Day of Riverton, WV, Donna Jean Hedrick of Maysville, WV; and 2 brothers, Dewey Day of Mt. Vernon, OH, Jerry Day (Mary) of Fredricktown, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: 5 brothers, Ray, Jimmie Harper, Owen, Roy Jacob, and Hubert Day; and a sister, Betty Baker.

Erman's family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, 6-8 PM at the High Rock Church in Riverton, WV. Funeral services will be on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the church, with Pastor Barbara Rexroad officiating. Interment will be in North Fork Memorial Cemetery, Riverton, WV.
