Harlan Wimer, age 83, of Circleville, WV, passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021, at his home.  He was born on January 14, 1938, on Smith Creek, WV, the son of the late Ocie Lee and Louella (Vance) Wimer.  Harlan married Jurlene (Vance) Wimer, who survives in Circleville.

Mr. Wimer attended Circleville High School and was a member of the Blue Grass United Methodist Church. He had worked for the Department of Natural Resources in the early 80's and worked for 33 years logging and for John Mullenax's saw mill.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Wimer is survived by: 2 daughters, Sandra Judy (Richard) of Circleville, WV, Melissa Wimer of Franklin, WV; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: a daughter, Amanda Wimer; a granddaughter, Tiffany Ann Wimer; and a brother, Earlie Wimer.

Mr. Wimer's family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, 10-11 AM at the Blue Grass Cemetery in Blue Grass, VA.
