Heath Douglas Turner, age 41, of Elkins, WV, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2019, at his home. He was born on June 30, 1977, in Harrisonburg, VA, the son of William Craig Turner and Adra of Onego, WV and Brenda Lou Heavener and Terry of Cabins, WV.

Mr. Turner was a 1995 graduate of Circleville High School and attended Fairmont State College. He had worked at RR Donnelley in Harrisonburg, VA.

In addition to his parents, Heath is survived by: a daughter, Madalyn "Maddie" Noel of Norton, WV; 2 brothers, Shawn Turner (Helan) of Seneca Rocks, WV, William Johnathan Turner (Samantha) of Winchester, VA; a half sister, Jodie Evans of Moorefield, WV; 2 step sisters, Jeanie Heavener of VA, Valerie Jones (Joey) of MD; grandparents, Margarette McLaughlin of Franklin, Arvella Vance Turner of Onego; step grandparents, Will and Bonnie Heavener of Petersburg; Aunts & Uncles, David McLaughlin (Brenda) of Durham, NC, Peggy Davis (Danny) of Franklin, Richard McLaughlin (Lucille) of Franklin, Stephanie Cooper (Andy) of Onego, Robert McLaughlin (Ann) of Franklin; and several, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Heath was preceded in death by: a son, Zane Dee Gardiner; grandfathers, Lawrence McLaughlin and William Turner; and an uncle, James McLaughlin.

Heath's family will receive friends on Thursday, January 17, 2019, 5-7 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, with Rev.
