Helen Louise Hedrick, age 89 of Riverton, WV, passed away at her home on Monday, December 22, 2025.   Helen was born on August 4, 1936 in Riverton, the daughter of the late James and Elsie Luzier.

On August 13, 1955, Helen married Earl Hedrick and raised a family of five children in Manassas, Virginia, before moving back to Riverton in 1981 with her husband Earl and their family.

Helen graduated from Circleville High School in 1955.  She married the love of her life a few months later and they moved to Northern Virginia, where they raised 5 children, and owned and operated a building supply business and construction company.  Helen was a stay-at-home mom, who provided endless love and support to her children and to her husband, which enabled Earl to be a successful entrepreneur.

Helen was a courageous woman with a passion for life.  She enjoyed her golden years of retirement by spending time with Earl at their condo in Myrtle Beach where they gathered with friends for cookouts at the pool, walks on the beach, and trying out all the newest restaurants in town.  However, her greatest passion was her love for her family.

Helen is survived by:  3 daughters, Janet Cox and husband Bill of Madison, WI; Kathy Hedrick of Petersburg, WV; Karen Fisher and husband Rick of Petersburg, WV; her son, Darin Hedrick and fiancée Tina of Petersburg, WV; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; her sister, Paula Jones; and her sister-in-law, Carol Luzier of Cortland, OH.   Helen was preceded in death by her husband Earl, and their son, Dennis; her parents; and 2 brothers, Tom and Ed Luzier.
