Helen June Lambert , age 93, of Franklin, WV, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at English Meadows Nursing Home in Harrisonburg, VA. She was born on November 19, 1932, in Franklin, WV, the daughter of the late Roy M. and Ona Alice (Warmer) Lambert.

Miss Lambert was a 1950 graduate of Franklin High School and a graudate of the University of Virginia School of Nursing. She also attended Louisiana State University, NOLA Branch. She was a Life Team Member of the UVA Alumni Association and a member of Cornerstone Society UVA. June was a life member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church.

Miss Lambert's 40 year nursing career included services in polio rehabilitation, geriatric, psychiatry, private duty, public health and general hospital practices. She had worked on staff at Ochsner Foundation Hospital from 1957-1963. Miss Lambert proudly worked in the nursing field from 1950-1996.

Miss Lambert was preceded in death by her parents and she is survived by cousins.

In honoring Miss Lambert's wishes, her body has been cremated and burial of cremains will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin, WV. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
