Henry E. "June" Bennett, Jr. , age 86, passed away on January 23, 2019 at his home. He was born on December 17, 1932, in Circleville, WV, the son of the late Henry E. and Virginia (Vest) Bennett. He married Mary June (Phares) Bennett, who survives in Circleville.

Mr. Bennett attended Circleville High School and North Fork Apostolic Church. He was a Veteran of the US Army and following his discharge from the Army, he worked for Wilson Rubber in Canton, OH. After marrying Mary June,he moved back to Circleville and worked for Allegheny Saw Mill in Riverton, WV and farmed. Farming was his passion and in 1988, his farm was recognized as a National Bicentennial Farm from the USDA.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Bennett is survived by: a son, Scott Alan Bennett and wife Kimberly of Vienna, WV; 8 grandchildren, Kloria (Wesley) Shull, Jolan Bennett, Carrington Bennett, Kira Bennett (fiance Justin Cronin), Azarian Bennett, Neamia Bennett, Aliana Bennett, and Rivion Bennett; 4 nephews, Jerry, Joe, David, Ricky; 4 nieces, Sandy, Susan, Janie, and Linda; a number of great-nieces and great-nephews; and a special caretaker, Marchia Hamlin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: an infant brother, Bobby Bennett; a brother, Ralph Bennett; and 2 sisters, Mary Bennett Bland and Silva "Sib" Bennett Warner.

Mr. Bennett's family will receive friends on Saturday, January, 26, 2019, 6-8 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin. Funeral services will be on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. W. Gary Zarr officiating. Interment will be in North Fork Memorial Cemetery in Riverton, with Military Honors conducted by the Pendleton County Veterans Honor Guard.
