Hilda Elaine Sellars , age 88, of Annadale, VA, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at Inova Hospital in Fairfax, VA. She was born on November 5, 1932, in Key, WV, the daughter of the late Verde and Gussie (Harman) Hinkle. Hilda married William "Bill" Durwood Sellars, who preceded her in death on July 20, 2015.

Hilda attended Circleville High School and retired from Giant Foods Meat Department. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and Local #393 Meat Cutters Union (representing Giant and Safeway Foods).

Hilda is survived by: a daughter Laura Goodman of Annandale, VA; and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: a son, John William Sellars; 3 brothers, Clyde, Jackie Dale, and Merlin Hinkle; and a sister, Avanel O'Connor.

Mrs. Sellars' family will receive friends on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 12-1 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV.
