Isaiah Jerel May, age 21, of Fairmont, WV, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV.  He was born on June 27, 2002, raised by his parents, Floyd "Bill" May of Petersburg and the late Karla (Suter) May.  Biological mother, Sophie (May) Bare (Randolph) of Fulks Run, VA.

Mr. May formerly attended the Mountaineer Challenge Academy and Mt. Clinton Church of God in Harrisonburg, VA.  Isaiah was also a former Process Technician at Trex Company in Winchester, VA and an avid outdoorsman.  He loved hunting, fishing, shooting guns, football, and NASCAR.  His favorite team was the Las Vegas Raiders and favorite driver, #9 Chase Elliott.  He also enjoyed walking and taking hikes in the mountains.  Isaiah was a friendly and outgoing person who made friends wherever he went.  He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

In addition to his father and biological mother, Isaiah is survived by: fiancée, C'Anna Woodruff of Fairmont, WV; a daughter, Claira Dawn May of Fairmont, WV; 2 brothers, Joshua Martz of Fairmont, WV; Randy May of Petersburg, WV; an aunt, Florita Yoder (Marlin) of Petersburg, WV; and an uncle, James May (Melissa) of Bridgewater, VA.

In honoring his family's wishes, Isaiah's body has been cremated and a Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, 3:00 PM, at the Mt.
