Jack Trevison Chambers , age 91, of Franklin, formerly of Fenwick, WV, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. He was born on April 28, 1929, at Trout Valley in Greenbrier County, WV, the son of the late Herbert and Hallie (Milam) Chambers.
Mr. Chambers attended Rennick and Richwood High Schools. He was a retired coal miner and was a proud member of the UMWA District 31. Jack had a passion for hunting, fishing, ginsenging, hunting mushrooms, and gardening. He was especially proud of his blueberry bushes and asparagus bed, but his greatest pleasure was spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Chambers is survived by: a son, Greg Chambers (Scherry) of Franklin, WV; a daughter, Tammy Cundiff (Larry) of Glenville, WV; 3 brothers, John Chambers (Mary Ann) of Flatwoods, WV, Buford Chambers of Richwood, WV, Byron Chambers (Melinda) of Romney, WV; a sister-in-law, Yvonne Chambers of Daniels, WV; 4 grandchildren, Emily, Allison, Jill and Patrick; and 4 great-grandchildren, Jackson, Maximus, Sydney Rae, and Hallie Rose. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: a brother, Ronald Chambers; and a sister, Betty Taylor; a half sister, Inez (Chambers) Rose; and a very special sister-in-law, Linda Chambers.
