Jack Eric Vance , age 50, of Glen Burnie, MD, formerly of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019, at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD, as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born on November 28, 1968, in Baltimore, MD, the son of the late Jack and Luxie Lavida (Hitt) Vance.

Eric was a graduate of Southern High School and he owned and operated J & L Vance Incorporated Construction Company. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Vance is survived by: his fiance, Kimberly A. Bohrer; a daughter, Kristin Vance of Glen Burnie, MD; a sister, Trina Duck (Hannis) of Pasadena, MD; 2 brothers, Stine Vance of Baltimore, MD and Jason Vance (Amanda) of Glen Burnie, MD; 3 grandchildren, Joshua Sabastian, Layla Hubbard, and Alayna Hubbard; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jackie Kirtz.

Mr. Vance's family will receive friends on Saturday, June 8, 2019, 1-2 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, with Rev.
