James Franklin Breth , age 86, of Franklin, WV, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025, at his home in Circleville, WV. He was born on November 7, 1938, in Clearfield, PA, the son of the late Ambrose and Wava (Batten) Breth. On December 24, 1965, James married Shirley (Beam) Breth, who survives in Circleville.

James attended Purchaseline High School in Commodore, PA and was a member of the Father's House Church in Petersburg, WV. James had worked as a truck driver for Hinkle Trucking.

In addition to his wife, James leaves behind: a daughter, Jamie Mae Brown (Bobby) of Seneca Rocks, WV; a brother, William Breth (Terri) of Rockton, PA; a granddaughter, Brooke Marlow (Charles); and 2 great-grandchildren, Hadassah Milstead and Isaiah Marlow.
