James William "Jimmy" Feaster , age 66, of Petersburg, WV, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022 at UVA Hospital in Charlottesville, VA. He was born on October 21, 1955, in Petersburg, WV, the son of the late Robert Hester "Talley" and Nina Leoda (Davis) Feaster.

Born and raised in Petersburg, Jimmy attended Petersburg High School and worked as a grounds keeper for Shop N Save and a cook for Pizza Hut where he later retired. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and lived his entire life in the Grant County community he loved. Jimmy will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather that will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Jimmy is survived by his mother-in-law, Edith Rhodes; ex-wife and mother of his children, Michelle Feaster; 2 daughters, Stacy Feaster (Fiancé Darrell Lockie) of Mt. Storm, WV; Stephanie O'Neal (Ronnie) of Herndon, WV; 2 sisters, Betty Jane Martin (John) of Shelton, WA; Sue Durham of Burlington, NC; 4 brothers, Joe Feaster Davis (Fiancée Margie Nevel) of Modesto, CA; Dale "Sonny" Feaster (Lynn) of Burlington, WV; Bob Feaster of Burlington, WV; Doyell Feaster (Debbie) of Burlington, WV; 6 grandchildren, Malaki Branham, LeLund Feaster, Brieanna McCadden, Anthony, Dillard, and Desteny O'Neal, and a great-granddaughter, Aspen O'Neal. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: a daughter, Selena Lee Feaster; 2 brothers, Donald Feaster, Roger Lee Feaster; a sister Helen Baker; and his father-in-law, James E. Rhodes.

Mr. Feaster's family will receive friends on Monday, July 18, 2022, 12- 2PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV. Funeral services will follow at 2:00PM with Pastor Denzil Davis officiating.
