Jeffery Hal Evick, age 65, of Franklin, WV, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023, at the Pendleton Manor in Franklin, WV. He was born on February 25, 1958, in Petersburg, WV, the son of the late William "Bill" Morgan and Neva Katherine (Hammer) Evick.

Jeff was a 1977 graduate of Franklin High School and a member of Faith Lutheran Church. He had worked at the H. P. Store, Valley Clothing and in Guest Services at Massanutten Resort. Jeff loved fishing at River Gap, South Branch of the Potomac, and Brandywine Lake. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching WVU sports.

Jeff is survived by: aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

Jeff's family will receive friends on Thursday, December 28, 2023, 1-2 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Sherri Schafer officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Franklin, WV.
