Jeralyn Nancy Wolcott , age 87, of Franklin, WV, formerly of Newport, Vermont, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg, VA. She was born on June 25, 1937, in Newport, VT, the daughter of the late Harold and Evangeline (Foster) Lewis. She was married to William Wolcott, who preceded her in death on February 3, 2013.

Jeralyn was a graduate of Newport High School in Vermont. She had worked as a Secretary for Citizens Utility until her retirement in 1989.

Jeralyn leaves behind to cherish her memory: a son, Glenn Wolcott (Paula) of Brandywine, WV; a brother, Harold "Mickey" Lewis (Mona) of Newport, VT; 2 grandchildren, Amber Sponaugle (Sam) and Matthew Wolcott (Kayla); and 4 great-grandchildren, Eliana Sponaugle, Emilia Sponaugle, Jackson Wolcott, and Jace Wolcott. In addiiton to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters.
