Jeremy Anthony Propst , age 44, of Circleville, WV, passed away on August 9, 2020 in Circleville. He was born on September 18, 1975, in Harrisonburg, VA, the son of Harry Propst of Timberville, VA, and the late Patricia (Turner) Phillips, and raised by his grandparents, the late Bob and Belva Bennett.

Jeremy was a 1993 graduate of Circleville High School and had worked in the logging industry and for Warner Trucking. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, and the outdoors and had a big heart in helping others.

Jeremy is survived by: his companion, Sherri Marie Bennett of Circleville, WV; 2 daughters, Kinley Bennett (age 8) of Circleville, WV, Tessa Propst (age 15) of Harman, WV; a brother, Robert Propst of Fulks Run, VA; a half sister, Kimberly Propst of Ashburn, VA; and 2 half brothers, Harrison Propst of Timberville, VA, and Billy Propst of Lewsiburg, WV. In addition to his parents and grandparents, he was preceded in death by his son, Chaz Alex Cassell.

Jeremy's family will receive friends on Monday, August 17, 2020, 4-6 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Theodore Bennett officiating.
