Jessie Freeman Campbell , age 73, of Brandywine, WV, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. He was born in Stephenson, AL, on January 15, 1951. On October 5, 2012, Jessie married Judy Gail Lundy, who survives in Brandywine, WV.

Jessie was a Veteran of the United States Marines and retired after serving 20 years.

In addition to his wife, Jessie leaves behind to cherish his memory: 2 daughters, Carrie Rather (Keith) of Florida, Kassie Campbell of Florida; a sister, Nancy Shreve (Roy) of Upper Tract, WV; a brother, Frank Campbell; and 2 grandchildren, Avery and Isabel Rather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a: brother, Clay Campbell; and a sister, Tina.

In honoring Jessie's wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2024 at 5:00 PM at Redeeming Grace Outreach Church in Franklin, WV.  Memories and words of comfort may be left at www.basagic.com.
