Jessie Luella Scheibner, age 79, of Franklin, WV, formerly of Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe, WA, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg, VA. She was born on November 30, 1939, in Bremerton, WA, the daughter of the late Chester and Jessie (Hall) Charles. Jessie married Charles Edward Scheibner, who preceded her in death in June 2012.

Mrs. Scheibner attended Kitsap County Schools and she graduated college with a Bachelors Degree in Child Psychology. She worked for 12 years as a Child Development Coordinator at S'Klallam Reservation in Washington.

Mrs. Scheibner is survived by: a daughter, Anna Scheibner (Tracy) of S'Klallam Reservation, Port Gamble, WA; 3 sons, Ron Scheibner (Monica) of Missoula, MT, Edward Scheibner (Sherry) of Brandywine, WV, Joseph Scheibner (Rozanne) of S'Klallam Reservation, Port Gamble, WA; 8 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: a daughter, Joan Scheibner; a brother; and 2 sisters.

In honoring Mrs. Scheibner's wishes, her body has been cremated. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the S'Klallam Center, Port Gamble, WA, with inurnment of ashes following the service.
