Jim John "Jay" Cash, Jr., 47, of Waynesboro, VA, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2020 at his home. He was born on September 15, 1972, in Farmville, VA, the son of the late Jim John Cash, Sr. and the late Inez Bell Cash. Jim John married Audi (Burkholder) Cash, who survives in Wanesboro, VA.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Cash is survived by: a step son, Ronald Kesner, of Waynesboro, VA; a boy he helped raise for many years, Jesse Whetzel of Singers Glen, VA; 2 sisters, Miranda "Shorty" Kesterson (Joe) of Franklin, WV, and Sherry Hammonds (John, Jr.) of Ballard, WV; nephews, Joseph Kesterson (Amanda) of Franklin, WV, Marshall Brooks of Franklin, WV, JJ Bocephus Bennett (Sarah) of Bridgewater, VA, Christopher (CJ) Bennett of Bruceton Mills, WV, TJ Dove of Ballard, WV; nieces, Cassandra "Sissy" Bobo (Justin) of Moorefield, WV, Gwen Tucker of Fairlawn, VA, Sophia Bennett of Jane Lew, WV; 2 great-nephews, Brayden Bennett of Bruceton Mills, WV, Liam Kesterson of Franklin, WV; 3 great-nieces, Makala Bobo, Katelyn Bobo, and Allyssa Steel; and a long time family friend, Ronald Pine. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: 2 brothers, Christopher Robert Williams and Arnold Ray Williams; and a sister, Zaneta Ray Williams.
