John Tyler “JT” Pratt, age 22, of Petersburg, WV, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 22, 2026 at his home. He was born on September 4, 2004 in Winchester, VA, the son of John Edward Pratt of Petersburg and Melissa (Holmes) Pratt of Winchester, VA.

JT attended Petersburg High School and was working at Pilgrim’s Pride in Moorefield, WV. He loved being outdoors and went fishing whenever he had the chance. He also enjoyed gaming and recently added a new dog to his family.

In addition to his parents, JT is survived by: a sister, Hailey Pratt of North Carolina; paternal grandparents, John Pratt and Nancy Cook; and maternal step-grandfather, Michael Blake.
