John Michael Kaminski, age 71 of Moorefield, WV and formerly of Petersburg, WV, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2020 at his residence. He was born on October 11, 1948 in Passaic, NJ, the son of the late John Andrew Kaminski and Sophia (Rayhack) Kaminski. On June 15, 1996, John married his wife of 23 years, Theresa DiFranco Kaminski, who survives in Petersburg, WV.

Mr. Kaminski graduated from Notre Dame High School in Lawrence, NJ and attended Mercer County Community College in West Windsor, NJ.  John was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Petersburg, WV.  He was an on-call manager for Bayada Home Care. In his spare time John, enjoyed fishing, bowling and watching baseball.

Mr. Kaminski is survived by, a special niece, Deanna DiFranco of Philadelphia, PA and a special nephew, Danny DiFranco of Miami, FL.

Mr. Kaminski's family will receive friends on Friday, February 28, 2020 from 5-7 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV.  Funeral Services will follow on Friday, February 28, 2020 at 7 PM in the chapel of the Basagic Funeral Home with Father Josh Stevens officiating.
