John Randolph Rohrbaugh, age 60, of Petersburg, WV, passed away August 13, 2021 at his home. He was born on April 4, 1961, in Petersburg, WV, the son of the late Garland Rohrbaugh and Georgia (Rhodes) Patchett. John is survived by his longtime companion and fiance, Kim Bruner, of Petersburg, WV.

Mr. Rohrbaugh attended both Petersburg and Keyser High School and was a devout Baptist Christian by faith. He had worked for Rohrbaugh Drywall and Frank Payne Construction as a professional drywall installer. John also worked in auto body repair for Benny Nelson before retiring from VEPCO in Mt. Storm, WV.   He was a humble, peaceful man who loved helping people. John loved to work with his hands and enjoyed fixing things.

John is survived by: 1 daughter, Anita G. Rohrbaugh of Widham, OH; 2 stepsons, Billy Lloyd of Petersburg, WV; Jesse Durst of Petersburg, WV; 1 sister, Barbara Thompson of Cabins, WV; 2 brothers, Roger "Bunchie" Hicklin of Washburn, TN; Rosser Leon "Boo" Hicklin of Berkeley Springs, WV; 3 grandchildren, Jordan T. Wildman, Justice N. Inman, Liberty N. Inman. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by: a brother, Raymond Rohrbaugh; and a grandson, Johnny Randolph Sperling.

Mr. Rohrbaugh's family will receive friends on Sunday, Aug. 15, 2021, 4-6 PM, at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 6:00 PM with Rev. Joseph Gerstell officiating. In honoring John's wishes, his body will be cremated following services.
