John David Ruddle, age 71, of Riverton, WV, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020, at his residence. He was born on December 24, 1949, in Harman, WV, the son of Lucy (Hott) Ruddle of Elkins, WV and the late Estyl Wade Ruddle. John married Johnnie Louise (Warner) Ruddle, who survives in Riverton.

Mr. Ruddle was a 1967 graduate of Circleville High School and a 1971 graduate of WVU. He owned and operated Ruddle Poultry and was a cattle farmer. John was a member of the Riverton United Methodist Church.

In addition to his mother and wife, John is survived by: a daughter, Jennifer Ruddle of Lubbock, TX; a son, Zach Ruddle of Lubbock, TX.; a grandchild, Bergynn Ruddle; and a cousin, Bobbie R. Ruddle of Wilmington, NC. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by an uncle, David James Ruddle.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 1, 2021 at 11:00 AM at North Fork Memorial Cemetery, Riverton, WV, with Pastor Mike Lambert officiating.
