John Lyndon Sturgeon , age 55, of Brandywine, WV, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at his residence. He was born on February 9, 1964, in Fairmont, WV, the son of the late Ray Joe and Grace Marie (Williams) Sturgeon.

Mr. Sturgeon was a graduate of Mannington High School and had worked for Peer's Sanitation, for 15 years as a Groundskeeper and Handyman,

Mr. Sturgeon is survived by: a daughter, Silver Howdyshell, of Virginia; a son, Jonathan Howdyshell of Virginia; 3 sisters, Bessie Gump (Larry), Ann, and Opal (Les); 8 brothers, Robert Sturgeon of OH, Richard Sturgeon of Mannington, WV, Joseph Sturgeon of VA, Raymond Sturgeon of Rachel, WV, Gary Sturgeon of Mannington, WV, Ray Joe Sturgeon, Jr, of Franklin, WV, Ralph Sturgeon of Brandywine, WV, and Mike Sturgeon (Leslie) of PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joanne.
