Josh Green, Jr, 89, of Franklin, WV, formerly of Walker, WV, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the Pendleton Manor in Franklin, WV. He was born on April 13, 1931, in Huff Creek, WV, the son of the late Josh and Ruby (Crockett) Green. On March 9, 1952, Josh married Mary Cathryn (Moore) Green, who survives in Walker, WV.

Mr. Green was a graduate of Parkersburg High School and was a Baptist by Faith. He was a member of the Parkersburg VFW and American Legion. Josh retired as a machinist from ACME Fishing and Tool Co. and he was a Korean Veteran of the US Navy.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Green is survived by: 6 daughters, Penny Glover of Little Hocking, OH, Joni DiBacco (Matt) of Franklin, WV, Marianne Seirs (Larry) of Elizabeth, WV, Nancy Moore (Bill) of Maysville, WV, Johanna Kerby (Greg) of Elizabeth, WV, Julie Green of Walker, WV; 3 sons, Josh C. Green (Anne) of new Matamoras, OH, Jon S. Green (Tammy) of Parkersburg, WV, Jess Green (Roxanne) of Lubeck, WV; a brother, James Green of Walker, WV; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Davis.
