Josie Daniel Toomey, age 92, formerly from Camp Springs, Maryland went to be with her Lord on Monday, August 31, 2020. She was born on May 10, 1928 in Mouth of Seneca, WV, the daughter of the late Bernie and Iva Armentrout. Josie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph Toomey.

Josie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who had a deep love and appreciation for her family. Josie also loved the Lord dearly. She was a charter member of the Grace Brethren Church of Clinton, Maryland, and was a 1945 graduate of Circleville High School.

Josie is survived by her son, Larry; grandchildren Kristine and Jeffrey; great grandchildren Emma and Mason; siblings, Olive, Doris, Karen, and Max Armentrout and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Josie is preceded in death by her siblings: Dwite, Norma, Blair, and Retha Armentrout.

Josie's family will receive friends on Friday, September 4, 2020 from 6-8 PM at the Lee Funeral Home in Clinton, Maryland. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at the Grace Brethren Church of Clinton, Maryland at 11 AM. Mrs. Toomey's family will have a graveside service on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at 2PM at South Branch Valley Memorial Gardens in Petersburg, WV with Pastor Greg Rotruck officiating.
