Juanita E. Judy , age 76 of Petersburg, WV passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg. She was born on June 10, 1942 in Cumberland, MD the daughter of the late James Cornelius Carr and Effie (Fadley) Carr Judy. On July 5, 2018 Mrs. Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James "Jim" Judy.

Mrs. Judy worked as a cook at the Grant Memorial Hospital and for the Grant County Commission on Aging before retiring from the Grant County Nursing Home as a CNA. Juanita was an avid bowler belonging to local leagues and competing in tournaments. She was best known for her cross stitch abilities, her green thumb, and no-nonsense attitude. Mrs. Judy was a member of the 1 ^st Baptist Church in Petersburg.

Mrs. Judy is survived by 1 daughter, Jamie Ault and husband, Duke, of Petersburg; 2 sisters, Joyce Ann Carr and Rayetta Lee Judy, 2 half-sisters, Melissa Carr and Judy Carr; 1 brother, James Robert "Buster" Carr; 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Judy was preceded in death by a son, Daniel W. Judy; 1 granddaughter, Savannah Donaldson and a grandson, Cole Judy.

Mrs. Judy's family will receive friends on Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 1-2 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg with a memorial service following at 2PM in the chapel of the Basagic Funeral Home with Rev.
