Karen Lorraine Martin, age 67, of Franklin, WV, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at her residence in Franklin. She was born on May 25, 1958, in Chesapeake, VA, the daughter of the late Earl Talent and Betty Frances Conley. Karen was married to Floyd Kenneth Martin, who survives in Franklin.

Karen was a graduate of Great Bridge High School in Chesapeake. She had worked as a homemaker for Pendleton Senior and Family Services.

In addition to her husband, Karen leaves behind to cherish her memory: 2 sisters, Sandra Baumbarger of Illinois and Donna Talent of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sons, Kenny and Chris.
