Kenneth Allen "Kenny" Nichols, Sr. , age 68, of Petersburg, WV, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at his residence. He was born on June 1, 1953, in Laurel, MD, the son of the late Bernard Eugene and Eva Marie (Woody) Nichols.

Mr. Nichols attended school in Laurel, MD and he worked there as a self-employed home improvement contractor. He was a Baptist by faith, and had a passion for fishing, billiards, cooking out, and gardening.

Mr. Nichols is survived by: a son, Kenneth Allen Nichols, Jr. of Laurel, MD; 3 sisters, Shirley Martin (Vern) of Fishersville, VA, Darlene Brookman (Mike) of Paint Bank, VA, Brenda Kaiser (David) of Sykesville, MD; 2 brothers, Ronnie Roberts (Sharon) of Wardensville, WV, Joseph "Joe" Roberts of Martinsburg, WV; 4 grandchildren; a lifelong friend and companion, Sandra Carr of Petersburg; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: a sister, Barbara Jean Matthews (James); and a brother, Bernard Thomas Nichols.
