Leonard William Ross II, age 53, of Moorefield, WV, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.  He was born on September 24, 1970 in Elyria, OH, the son of the late Leonard William Ross and Sandra Fae (Barr) Lowery (Gerald Sr.) of Moorefield.

Mr. Ross attended school at Elyria High School, later receiving his GED and previously worked in the telecommunication field.  Leonard enjoyed fishing, computers, and was always quick with a joke.  He was a big supporter of Donald Trump and the Republican Party, a huge Steelers fan, Elvis fan, and also had aspirations of going out west to mine for gold.

Leonard is survived by: 2 daughters, Kacie Peterson of Pennsylvania; Halea Yost of Ohio; 2 sons, Joshua Fralick of Ohio; Leonard Mason Ross of Ohio; 6 sisters, Dee Dee Thomas (Patrick) of Moorefield, WV; Shawna Musser (significant other, Corey Beavers) of Petersburg, WV; Carrie Ross of Ohio; Marnie La Rosa of Ohio; Lisa Bender (Jay) of Ohio; Amanda Ludlow of California; 4 brothers, Jamie Lowery (April) of Pennsylvania; Gerald Lowery, Jr. of Moorefield, WV; Jeff Lowery of Ohio; Jason Ledlow of Louisiana; 4 Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In honoring Leonard's wishes, his body has been cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, 4:00 PM at the Asbury United Methodist Church Community Center, 119 Allegheny St. Moorefield, WV 26836.  Memories and words of comfort may be left at www.basagic.com or on Facebook at Basagic Funeral Home.
