Linda Kay Kile , age 74, of Upper Tract, WV, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the Pendleton Manor in Franklin, WV. She was born on December 22, 1950, in Petersburg, WV, the daughter of the late Lester and Laura Etta (Kile) George.

Linda was a 1969 graduate of Franklin High School. She had worked at Hanover Shoe Company for 30 years until its closing and later retired from Marshalls.

Linda leaves behind to cherish her memory: a sister, Joy Marie Lantz (Steve) of Upper Tract, WV; a brother, Charlie George (Tammy) of Upper Tract, WV; a half brother, Raymond George (Rebecca) of Upper Tract, WV; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: 5 brothers, Foster, Gladen, Andy, Stanley, and Casper; and 6 sisters, Ethel Davis, Catherine Kesner, Rebecca Kile, Lola Belle VanMeter, Minnie Borror, and Mary Hedrick.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Kile-Kimble Cemetery on Ridge Road, Upper Tract, WV at 11:00 AM, with Pastor David Webb officiating. Memories and words and comfort may be left at www.basagic.com.
