Loretta Jane Judy Harper , age 85, of Circleville, WV, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Pendleton Manor with her husband by her side. She had been a resident there since August 2025. Loretta was born on February 29, 1940, in Circleville, WV, the daughter of late Roy L. Judy "Peanut" and Minnie B. Vandevander Judy.

Loretta was a 1958 graduate of Circleville High School, and a member of Riverton United Methodist Church. On December 25, 1957 Loretta married Kenneth Paul Harper of Circleville who survives. Loretta worked at Hedrick's 4-U Restaurant for 24 years as a cook and waitress. She loved reading, sewing, planting the garden, working in her flower beds, collecting Fostoria glassware and working side by side with her husband on their cattle farm in Circleville, WV.

In addition to her husband, she leaves behind to cherish her memory one daughter, Lucinda "Cindy" Harper Kisamore (Keith) of Riverton, WV. Two grandchildren, Ashley Gail Kisamore-Kimble (Ashley) of Rockingham, VA, Kyle Laden Kisamore (Crystan) of Seneca Rocks, WV. Four great-grandchildren, Blaiklee Harper Kimble, Briggs Karson Kimble, Laden Gray Kisamore and Amyiah Jane Kisamore. One sister Daisy M. Hedrick of Seneca Rocks, WV and two brothers Roy Lee Judy (Debbie) of Circleville, WV and Johnny H. Judy (Rita) of Mt. Storm, WV.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Christopher Paul Harper, in 2004; brother-in-law, Kenny Lee Hedrick.

Viewing will be on Monday, November 10, 2025 from 6-8 PM at Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Basagic Funeral Home, with Pastor JD Wilkins & Pastor Sam Harper. Interment will be at North Fork Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Pendleton Manor, Pendleton County Rescue Squad, Circleville & Seneca Rocks, Fire Dept., and Riverton United Methodist Church.
