Obituary

Louis Anthony DiMarco, age 76, of Franklin, WV, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg, WV. He was born on January 28, 1949, the son of the late Alfred and Frances Rose (DeMento) DiMarco. On July 17, 2019, Louis married Jamie Thompson DiMarco, who survives in Franklin.

Louis was a graduate of Clearview High School in Mantua, NJ. He was a member of Christ Central Church in Upper Tract, WV, the Franklin Moose #769, and the bowling league at Potomac Highland Recreation Center. He loved to collect movies and lighters. He was a Vietnam Veteran of the US Navy. Louis had been employed for 20 years by Wheaton Glass Company and 18 years for Rowan University as an Electrician/Maintenance.

Louis had a passion for sports and was a very talented athlete, proving his ability by being drafted to play for the LA Dodgers. He enjoyed watching Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles.

In addition to his wife, Louis leaves behind to cherish his memory: 2 daughters, Angela Hoechst (Theodore) of Wenonah, NJ, Kayse Marie DiMarco of Franklin, WV; a bonus daughter, Allyson Riddle of Newfield, NJ; a step daughter, Julie Evick of Franklin, WV; 3 sons, Louis Salazar of AZ, Alfred DiMarco of Paulsboro, NJ, Mark Anthony DiMarco of Paulsboro, NJ; a step son, Craig Thompson of Brandywine, WV; 8 grandchildren; and 7 step grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: an infant sister, Angela Rose DiMarco and 2 grandsons, Alfred Jr. and Theodore.
