Maggie F. (Propst) Tarrant, age 71 of Franklin, WV, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Pendleton Manor in Franklin. She was born on January 13, 1947 in Franklin, WV, the daughter of the late Jesse Owen and Loretha Evaline (Rader) Propst.

Maggie was a 1965 graduate of Franklin High School and she was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church. She had worked as a Clerical Supervisor for Gay and Taylor Law Firm in Birmingham, AL. She had also worked at Pic Pac, IGA, and as a Social Worker for Pendleton Nursing Home.

Maggie is survived by: a daughter, Sherri Lynn Schafer and husband Paul of Wheeling, WV; 2 sons, Dale Kile of Franklin, and James William Kile and wife Susie of Harrisonburg, VA;

4 grandchildren, Robert Schafer, Garrett Kile, Gage Kile, and Genna Kile. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Marshall Propst.
