Malinda Lou Carr , age 61, of Moorefield, WV, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at her home.  Ms. Carr was born on August 15, 1962 in Petersburg, WV the daughter of the late Paul "Jim" Virgil Carr and Carol Ann (Keplinger) Kuykendall of Moorfield, WV.

Ms. Carr attended school at the Cabins Christian Academy and later received her GED at the South Branch Career and Technical Center.  She attended Cabins Assembly of God and had worked at American Woodmark for almost 15 years prior to her illness.  She had previously worked for Pilgrim's Pride, formerly Hester's Prepared Foods.  Malinda had a passion for life, she enjoyed the outdoors whether camping, fishing, or traveling to new places.

In addition to her mother, Malinda is survived by: 4 brothers, Jimmy Allen Carr of Baltimore, MD; Danny Carr of Petersburg, WV; Jeffrey Carr (Karen) of Petersburg, WV; Joshua Paul Carr of Winchester, VA; and several nieces and nephews.

Malinda's family will receive friends on Saturday, October 7, 2023, 11-12 PM at the Cabins Assembly of God, Cabins, WV.  Funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM with Pastor Coleman Clark officiating.  Memories and words of comfort may be left at www.basagic.com or on Facebook at Basagic Funeral Home.
