Marlon Andrew Coffey, age 69, of Petersburg, WV, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at his home. He was born on May 21, 1956, in Warrenton, VA, the son of the late Martha Lee Hitt. On May 16, 1998, Marlon married the love of his life, Cynthia (Cooper) Coffey, who survives in Petersburg.

Mr. Coffey had worked as a Business Manager for Juniper Networks in Reston, VA and was a Veteran of the US Marines.

Marlon attended Thomas Jefferson High School. He was a network engineer and applied that knowledge to organizing and planning everything that he did. Marlon had a passion for farming (especially beekeeping) and playing the guitar. He was very musically inclined and recorded music. He enjoyed working with his tractor and enjoyed camping in the RV. Marlon's legacy of amusing people and making them laugh will live on.
