Marshall R. Huffman , age 97, of Franklin, WV, passed away on April 25, 2021, at his home. He was born on August 2, 1923, the son of the late Blosser and Radie (Raines) Huffman. On February 9, 1955, Marshall married his wife of 66 years, Ada Belle (Hedrick) Huffman.

Mr. Huffman attended Dry Fork School and was a member of the Friends Run Church of the Brethren. He had worked as a Sawyer and Woodsman. Marshall loved spending time with his family and friends and reminiscing.

In addition to his wife, Marshall is survived by: a daughter, Sherry Hartman (Charlie) of Franklin, WV; a son, Ron Huffman (Wendy) of Franklin, WV; a brother, Richard Huffman (Doris) of Franklin, WV; 3 grandchildren, Torey Huffman, Stephanie Hensley, and Jessica Hartman; and 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: 3 brothers, Burl, Herbert and Thurman Huffman; and 4 sisters, Juanita Huffman, Wilda Huffman, Gae Huffman and Nola Pennybaker.

Marshall's family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, 6-8 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor David Morris officiating. Interment will be Cedar Hill Cemetery, Franklin, WV.
