Mary Elaine Beachy , age 75, of West Lafayette, OH, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at her home. She was born on April 9, 1944, in Spencer, WV, the daughter of the late Harley and Velma Florence (Utt) Travis.

Miss Beachy attended Romney Schools and the Assembly of God. She was a homemaker and a mother.

Miss Beachy is survived by: a daughter, Alicia Cosner of Morgantown, WV; 3 sons, Kelvey "Billy' Cosner (Amanda) of Moorefield, WV, Jeffrey Ervin Cosner of West Lafayette, OH, John Russell Bryant (Jeana) of Adamsville, OH; a sister, Eleanora Leoda Starkey of Petersburg, WV; a brother, Etsul Travis of Bridgeport, WV; 15 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: 4 brothers, Grant, Merle, Luther, and Ed Travis; and 3 sisters, Phoebe Shoemaker, Erma Bailey, and Jessie Gillispie.

Miss Beachy's family will receive friends on Thursday, June 13, 2019, 12-2 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, in the funeral home chapel, with Mark and Debbie Nichols officiating. Interment will be in Lahmansville Cemetery in Lahmansville.
