Mary Margaret Evick , age 67, of Brandywine, WV, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Shenandoh House in Fishersville, VA. She was born on October 31, 1951, in Harrisonburg, VA, the daughter of Lee Roy and Ina Jean (Sinnett) Evick of Ft. Seybert, WV.

Mary was a 1969 graduate of Franklin High School and she attended WVU and Rockingham School of Nursing. She formerly attended Cedar Grove Church of the Brethren and retired from the Sugar Grove Naval Base. Mary loved gardening and flowers.

Mary is survived by: a daughter, Michelle Kuykendall (Danny) of Ft. Seybert; 2 brothers, Lee Roy Evick, Jr. (Nancy) of Ft. Seybert, Albert "Robin" Evick of Ft. Seybert; and 5 grandchildren, Jacob, John, Javin, Jaxon, and Justus Kuykendall.

Ms. Evick's family will receive friends on Thursday, May 9, 2019, 10-11 AM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. Funeral services will follow on Thursday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Eugene Shaver officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin.
