Mary Evick Keplinger, age 73 , of Newark, DE passed away peacefully on Wednesday , December 2, 2020 surrounded by h er loving family and dog Eve. Mary graduated class of 1965 from Franklin High School in West Virginia where she met her beloved husband Steve Keplinger and moved to Delaware in 1969 . Sh e retired from Astra Zeneca on Old Baltimore P ark where s he worked for many years . She volunteered with her husband at Meals on Wheels and was a member of the Wilmington Church of the Brethren in Richardson Park . She enjoyed reading, feeding birds in her backyard and cooking country meals for the family at her WV home . She was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Edith Evick of Franklin , WV and her husband Steve Keplinger. She was also predeceased by three brothers and two sisters. Mary is survived by three brothers Cody ( Helen ) of Franklin, WV, Richard (Julia) , of Harrisonburg, VA, Bennie (Mary Alice) of Franklin, WV ; one sister Jody (Ed) of Wilmington, DE. She wi ll be fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews , in - laws and friends whom s he held dear to her heart.
