Mary Arbutus Mallow, age 87, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 10, 2022, at the Grant Rehab and Care Center in Petersburg, WV.  She was born on September 4, 1934 in Maysville, WV, the daughter of the late Loy M. Dolly and Myrtle (Rohrbaugh) Dolly.  Mary was preceded in death by her husband Owen Cosner.

Ms. Mary attended schools in Grant County and was a member of the Potomac Valley Baptist Church in Maysville, WV. She had worked at the Kinney Shoe Factory in Romney, WV and in Home Health Care for many years.  Throughout her life she volunteered at many churches and faithfully supported missionaries around the world. Mary had a passion for lost souls, always doing the Lord's work by passing out tracks and witnessing to all she met, whether in town, the Dairy Queen, or at the nursing home.  Mary will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear sister to all who knew her.

Mary leaves behind to cherish her memories: a daughter, Sharon Marsh of Keyser, WV; 2 sons, Randy Cosner (Jill) of Burlington, WV; Tim Cosner (Sharon) of Louisa, VA; a daughter-in-law, Amy Cosner of Moorefield, WV;  3 sister, Betty Olson, of Longmont CO; Arvella Smith of Old Fields, WV; Geneva Michaels of Harrisonburg, VA ; a half-sister, Deloris Bennett of Burlington, WV; Brother-in-law, Lyle Cosner (Juanita); Sister-in-law, Yvonne Coleman; 6 Grandchildren, Tonya Klacik, Bradley Cosner, Heather Cosner, Chasity Taylor, Alexandra Stanley, Tabethia Chiles; 11 Great-Grandchildren, Katelynn & Landon Klacik, Tyler & Andrew Cosner, Trea Van Meter, Hannah & Brooke Taylor, Hayden & Asher Dixon, Lincoln & Lexington Chiles.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by; a son, Russell Cosner and 2 Great-Grandchildren, Alison Cosner and Robert John Klacik.

Mary's family will receive friends on Monday, June 13, 2022, 11-1 PM at the Potomac Valley Baptist Church, Maysville, WV.  Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ted Anderson officiating.  Interment will be in the Locust Grove Cemetery, Mt.
