Mary Beth Ndlazi, age 42, of Petersburg, WV passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.  She was born on January 13, 1983 in Winchester, VA, the daughter of Greg George (Melissa) of Moorefield, WV and Mary Elizabeth Blair of Dorcas, WV. On August 20, 2011 Mary Beth married Zizi Ndlazi who survives in Petersburg.

Mary Beth was a 2001 graduate of Petersburg High School and attended Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV.  She enjoyed taking care of those in need and began working at Grant Memorial Hospital in the maternity ward and at the Burlington Children's Home before her illness.  Mary Beth looked forward to the fellowship and spiritual guidance she received at South Branch Baptist Church and drew strength to face each day from the Lord.  She cherished every moment spent with her family and friends and leaves them a legacy of love and service to others.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mary Beth leaves behind to cherish her memory: a daughter, Mya Ndlazi; a son, Zian Ndlazi; 2 sisters, Rebecca Shoemaker of Fisher, WV; Jocalynn George of Moorefield, WV; a brother, Jonah George of Moorefield, WV; nieces and nephews and a special niece, Cailin Blair.

Mary's family will receive friends on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 12-1 PM at the South Branch Baptist Church 496 Veterans Lane, Petersburg, WV.
