Matthew Udell Warner age 38, of Moorefield, WV passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the UVA Hospital in Charlottesville, VA. He was born November 30, 1980 in Morgantown, WV, the son of Terry Warner of Burlington, WV and Debra Mongold of Phoenixville, PA. Matthew lived with his Aunt Catherine and Uncle Rickie Ours in Moorefield, WV.

Mr. Warner attended school at the West Virginia School for the Deaf & the Blind in Romney, WV, where he completed an internship at the school radio station after graduation. Matthew was a Christian by faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Warner is survived by: 1 sister, Maranda Warner of Petersburg, WV; 1 brother, Jeremy Lee Warner of PA; maternal grandfather, Udell Mongold of Phoenixville, PA; paternal grandmother, Phyllis Warner of Augusta, WV and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a twin brother, Michael Leroy Warner.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 6-8 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Basagic Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin, WV.
