Obituary

Maxine Susan Heavner, age 85 of Petersburg, WV, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at the E.A. Hawse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Baker, WV. She was born on November 28, 1933, in Maysville, WV, the daughter of the late Issac Davis and Rachel (Rohrbaugh) Davis. Maxine was married to Mason Glenn Heavner, who survives in Petersburg,WV.

Mrs. Heavner attended school in Maysville and was a Baptist by faith. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Heavner is survived by: 5 sons, Mason Heavener, Jr. and wife, Kathy, of Manassas, VA, Dean Heavener and wife, Cindy, of Maysville, Danny Heavner of Maysville, Tony Heavner and David Heavner both of Petersburg; 19 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Heavner was preceded in death by: 1 son, Andrew Heavener and 5 brothers and 4 sisters and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Mrs. Heavener's family will have a memorial service on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg with Pastor Coleman Clark officiating. An inurment of ashes will take place at the South Branch Valley Memorials Gardens at a later date.
