Obituary

Maxine Glennis Might, age 75 of Upper Tract, WV, passed away on Saturday March 16, 2019 at her residence. She was born on September 27, 1943, in Charlottesville, VA, the daughter of the late Harvey Garrison and Dorothy (Whales) Garrison.  Maxine was married to James Freemont Might, Sr. who survives in Upper Tract.

Mrs. Might attended school at Sparrows Point High School and was a member of the Edgemere Moose Lodge #537 in Sparrows Point, Md. She was a waitress at George's Café in Baltimore, Md and a Christian by faith.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Might is survived by: 2 daughters, Dora Might of Baltimore and Debbie Barger (James) of Upper Tract; 3 sons, Michael Might (Ruth Ann) of Baltimore, Frankie Carl Might (Dawn) of Finksburg, MD and Jimmy F. Might, Jr. of Upper Tract; 4 sisters, Freda Garrison, Brenda Garrison, Sue Garrison and Sissy Garrison all of Charlottesville; 2 brothers, David Garrison of Charlottesville and Richard Garrison of Harrisonburg, VA; 22 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Might is preceded in death by: 1 infant son, Jimmy Garrison; 1 daughter, Dorothy M. Wilson and 1 brother, Harvey Garrison.

Mrs. Might's family received friends on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Duda-Ruck Funeral Home in Dundalk, Md. Funeral services were held Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 10AM with interment following at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery in Baltimore. All local arrangements were under the direction of the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV.
