Michael Clay Hedrick, age 63, of Seneca Rocks, WV, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022 at his home.  He was born on January 23, 1959 , the son of the late Riley Hedrick and Joann (Sites) Hedrick of Moorefield, WV.

Mr. Hedrick was a 1977 graduate of Circleville High School and a Veteran of the US Army.  Michael retired from farming on the family farm in Seneca Rocks, WV.  He also worked as a carpenter in Alaska and drove truck for V R Mowry Trucking.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Hedrick is survived by: a daughter, Denali Skye Hedrick of Charleston, WV; a son, Hunter Seth Hedrick of Seward, AK; a step-sister, Rhonda Hedrick (Charles) of Seneca Rocks, WV; and a half-brother, David Conrad (Holly Wills) of Moorefield, WV.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a half-brother, Harry McMorrow.

Mr. Hedrick's family will receive friends on Friday, June 24, 2022 , 6-8 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 25, at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Cindy Skinner officiating.   Interment will be in the Hedrick Family Cemetery in Seneca Rocks, WV with military honors bestowed by the US Army.  Memorials may be made to the Hedrick Family Cemetery c/o Diane McMorrow of Seneca Rocks, WV.  Memories and words of comfort may be left at www.basagic.com or on Facebook at Basagic Funeral Home.
