Minnie Pearl Bennet t, age 82, of Circleville, WV, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg, WV. She was born on April 5, 1941, on Elk Mountain in Circleville, WV, the daughter of the late Willie and Grethel (Lambert) Vandevander.

Pearl attended Circleville High School and was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Pearl is survived by: 2 daughters, Angela Bennett of Petersburg, WV, Joann Shook (Charles) of Verona, VA; 3 sons, Cecil Bennett of Circleville, WV, Matthew Bennett of Charmco, WV, Bradley Bennett (Leslie) of Circleville, WV; 3 sisters, Myrtle Bennett of Elkins, WV, Cindy Whetsell of Kerens, WV, Bonnie Mick (Gary) of Circleville, WV; 4 brothers, Willis Vandevander of Brandywine, WV, Curtis Vandevander of Ohio, Allen Vandevander (Boots) of Whitmer, WV, Golden Vandevander of Elkins, WV; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: an infant son; 2 brothers, Jeff and Charlie; and a sister, Lena Mae.

Pearl's family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, 3-5 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 1:00 PM at the Circleville Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Fletcher Hutcheson officiating.
