Molly June (Dove)Tidwell age 87 of Decatur, Ga went to be with her Lord and Saviour on June 5, 2019 while in hospice in her home. She was born in Riverton ,WV on March 2, 1932 the daughter of the late Robert and Kitty (Teter) Dove. She was married to Carl Tidwell of Jasper, Alabama for 56 years, who preceded her in death on May 19, 2012.
Molly was a graduate of Circleville High School. She was a homemaker and co-owner of Tidwell Car Company of Decatur, Ga. for many years. She also was blessed by her volunteer work with Metro Street Ministry. She was an avid believer of Christ and encouraged everyone to know their Saviour. She loved gardening and planted many flowers. She loved wildflowers and birds and was an ardent student and reference of herbal medicine.
Mrs. Tidwell is survived by: 2 daughters ; Sheree Dove Ullum and husband Thomas Ullum of Grantsville, WV and Sarita Samad and husband Robert Samad of Alpharetta, Ga. ; a son, Carl Mace Tidwell of Decatur, Ga.;2 grandchildren, Cicily Rachelle Ullum and Samara Samad: 3 Great-grandchildren, Kyla Raber, Janissa Hayes, and Jackson Ullum; 1 god-son: Phuoc quango bui; 1 sister, Patricia Dickinson of Olney, MD, 1 brother, Alton Dove of Riverton, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents and 5 brothers; Dan, Bruce, Ray ,Worth,Gus and 2 sisters , Lillian Teets and Jeanne Bland and a half sister, Olive Armentrout. She also has many wonderful nieces and nephews that she loved dearly and enjoyed their company and correspondence.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 11:00-1:00 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Stanley Kile officiating. Interment will be in the North Fork Memorial Cemetery, Riverton, WV. Memorials may be made to World Challenge Ministries of David Wilkerson.
