Nancy J. Howery, 72 of Bowling Green, VA, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020. She was born on April 12, 1948, in WV, the daughter of the late Irvin G. and Mary (Smith) Kile. Nancy married Timothy Howery, Sr., who survives in Bowling Green.

Nancy had lived in northern Virginia for many years and worked in several different hair salons as a beautician for over 50 years. She will truly be missed by family, friends, and the very large family of clients whom she loved so dearly. Survivors include her husband, Tim "Whitey" Howery, Sr.; her children, Brenard T. "Tim" Howery, Jr., Matt Howery, Mike Howery, and Tiffany Katinas; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her daughter, Cindy Thompson; a brother, John Allen Kile; and a sister Mary Elva Burgess.

Mrs. Howery's family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, 1-2 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Cherry Hill Cemetery, Upper Tract, WV.
